• Tech Trek will provide girls from across the state an opportunity to be inspired by the opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  The camp is being held at Eckerd College in July.

• Book Club selections for the Summer:

June 9:

Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver. This novel was named the best book of the year by The Washington Post and USA Today. This selection deals with butterflies and climate change.

July 14:

Defending Jacob by William Landay. This book is about a courtroom drama that deals with the murder of a high school boy.

August 11:

The Daughters of Mars by Thomas Keneally. In 1915 two spirited Australian sisters join the war effort as nurses, escaping the confines of their father’s farm and carrying a guilty secret with them.
